Our Gear
Sta-Level Recording Studio takes its name from a 1950s Gates Sta-Level compressor Jeff acquired from a radio station in Canada 20 years ago. The Sta-Level dominated the sound of pop radio in the 1960’s and has become one of the most legendary, emulated, and desired compressors in the industry. Over 60 years after it was manufactured, the Gates Sta-Level compressor at Sta-Level Recording Studio continues to add warmth and vibrancy to every track that passes through it.
